A Powerful Christian Devotional About Salvation In Jesus
Before I accepted Jesus as my Savior, His name was just another name to me.
It had no power or worth for me. Most of the people in my life used His name as a curse word with no regard for the Son of the Most High God.
Everything changed the moment His sweet conviction settled in my heart.
For the first time in my life, Jesus was no longer just a babe in a manger at Christmastime.
Jesus became my everything.
His name is Jesus, the One who died for me.
His name is Jesus, the One who took the nails and made me free.
His name is Jesus, the One who stepped down from all of heaven, for all humanity.
His name is Jesus, the One who held the crown of thorns upon His head.
His name is Jesus, God's only Son.
This Jesus, sets captives free, gives sight to the blind, and heals the sick.
Jesus paid the sin debt for you and me-for all eternity.
God still forgives, He still saves, and He's still in the miracle-working business today.
So, devil, get out of our way, because my God's promises are still true today!
Oh, what a Redeemer we have! What grace He holds!
Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus!
