Devotional: Trust God’s Timing
Friend, does your soul wait upon the Lord? Do you look to heaven with great expectation each day when your eyes open at first light?
Whatever you’re facing today, lift it to the Lord in prayer, and determine in this moment to wait upon the Lord for the answers you seek. It may take a bit to hear back, the answer may not be as you expect, but rest assured the answer will come.
Don’t wait for the answer to praise God. Lift your hands, voice, and spirit and praise in advance. Not because of what you expect Him to do, but because of who He is. God is worthy of all praise, no matter the answer we receive. Do not doubt what God can do. Wait patiently on the Lord.
His timing is the best timing, His provision is the best provision, and His grace is everlasting. What God has prepared for us is so much better than anything we could put together for ourselves.
Trust God's timing, He is the rock on which we stand, the firm foundation that is unmovable. God is always available, always listening, and never leaves us to walk alone; no matter what you are facing today, God is just a whisper away.
